In Action

In advancing the goals of the American Jewish Committee in New York City, the New York Chapter works to support the State of Israel; combat anti-Semitism; and build bridges both within the New York Jewish community and with outside partners, including diplomats, government officials, and leaders of other ethnic and religious communities.  Our objective is to advocate for communal and public policies that safeguard the Jewish people, promote intergroup understanding, and advance the causes of civil rights, human rights, and social justice.
