Annual Giving

Gifts of all sizes and types help AJC fulfill its mission. Credit card gifts and pledges can be made by  clicking here or by calling (212) 751-4000 x254 or x443. Checks should be made out to American Jewish Committee and mailed to us at: American Jewish Committee- New York Chapter, 165 East 56th Street, New York NY 10022. Matching Gifts. Many employers have established gift plans that let their employees, both current and retired, make charitable gifts which are then matched by the employer. This is a great way to double your gift. Contact your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program. National Leadership Council. For a gift of $5,000 or more you will be automatically enrolled in AJC's honorary giving society, the National Leadership Council, which entitles you to exclusive invitations throughout the year. For more information, please contact Diane Steinman at steinmand@ajc.org.

Planned Giving

Invest in the future of the Jewish people. Planned giving is a very personal way to ensure that the values and traditions that are most important to you will be preserved for generations to come. In addition, investing in the New York Chapter of the American Jewish Committee can have significant, positive ramifications on your financial planning goals. AJC's Horizon Society recognizes generous and thoughtful donors whose vision extends beyond today's horizon and have included AJC in their estate plans. If you would like to enroll in the Horizon Society, please contact Robin Philips at philipsr@ajc.org, who can answer your questions and help with your financial planning. All requests remain confidential. If you have already included AJC in your estate plans, please let us know so that we can enroll you in the Horizon Society and express our thanks.

Tribute Dinner

The Stanley M. Isaacs Human Relations Award honors business and civic leaders who have an impact on public life, and share AJC's commitment to promote the vitality and security of the Jewish people; to support the State of Israel; to protect fundamental civil and religious rights; to combat bigotry in all its forms; and to foster intergroup harmony and the mutual respect upon which democracy depends.

On March 6, 2006 at the Palace Hotel, the New York Chapter recognized the contributions of Stan and Marcey Pantowich to the Jewish community and to the City of New York.  The dinner was chaired by Ken Brown, Mark Friedman, Robyn Transport, John Pantowich and Gary Fuhrman.
