GENERAL INFORMATION

The projects and programs of The American Jewish Committee and the New York Regional Office are financed mostly through your individual contributions. These personal gifts not only sustain our organization, but also deliver a powerful vote of confidence. Your contribution is crucial if AJC is to remain one of the most highly regarded, effective and respected advocacy organizations in America and beyond. Your support...
  • Allows AJC flexibility in meeting the community's most pressing needs
  • Helps combat anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry
  • Defends democratic values and promotes human and civil rights
  • Improves intergroup and interfaith relations
  • Provides for the security of the Jewish people in Israel and worldwide
  • Improves the quality of American Jewish life

Ways You Can Give Your Support
  • Annual Giving, including the annual NY Region campaign and National Leadership Council

  • Planned Giving, including the Horizon Society

  • Tribute Dinner, the New York Region's Stanley M. Isaacs Human Relations Award

Annual Giving

Gifts of all sizes and types help AJC fulfill its mission. Credit card gifts and pledges can be made by clicking here or by calling (212)-891-1443. Checks should be made out to American Jewish Committee and mailed to us at: American Jewish Committee- New York Region, 165 East 56th Street, New York NY 10022. Matching Gifts. Many employers have established gift plans that let their employees, both current and retired, make charitable gifts which are then matched by the employer. This is a great way to double your gift. Contact your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program. National Leadership Council. For a gift of $5,000 or more you will be automatically enrolled in AJC's honorary giving society, the National Leadership Council, which entitles you to exclusive invitations throughout the year. For more information, please contact Michael Schmidt at schmidtm@ajc.org.

Planned Giving

Invest in the future of the Jewish people. Planned giving is a very personal way to ensure that the values and traditions that are most important to you will be preserved for generations to come. In addition, investing in the New York Region of the American Jewish Committee can have significant, positive ramifications on your financial planning goals. AJC's Horizon Society recognizes generous and thoughtful donors whose vision extends beyond today's horizon and have included AJC in their estate plans. If you would like to enroll in the Horizon Society, please contact Julie Schair at schairj@ajc.org who can answer your questions and help with your financial planning. All requests remain confidential. If you have already included AJC in your estate plans, please let us know so that we can enroll you in the Horizon Society and express our thanks.
