NATIONAL OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY (NOA)- Chair, Betty Cotton

Mission: To advocate for and promote public policies that help strengthen American democracy and pluralism and security such as immigration reform, the separation of Church and State, eradicating hate crimes and energy independence. The committee also responds to requests from the agency's natiohnal board of governors for input on AJC policy statements and joins with our ethnic and faith partners to advocate on issues of common interest. The NOA comittee seeks to build long-term relationships with members of the NY's Congressional delegation and meets with them as well as state elected officials as appropriate.
