On November 19 the Chapter hosted the fourth annual America's Table: A Thanksgiving Reader Event at the Baruch College Library. Over 100 ethnic community leaders and government officials joined Chapter leaders and members to honor Congressman Charles Rangel and, in light of recent noose and swastika incidents around they city, to stand together against bigotry and hate and embrace the vitality provided by New York's extraordinary diversity and the values that unite us. Featured speakers included Lt. Gov. David Paterson, Immigration Commissioner Guillermo Linares and Teacher's College President Susan Fuhrman.
