The 17th Annual Diplomatic Tour of Jewish New York
1906-2006: Jewish Values and the American Struggle for Human Rights and Justice
In AJC's Centennial year, the tour highlighted the interplay between Jewish values and America's founding ideals, with a special emphasis on the efforts of AJC and other American Jewish Institutions to promote human rights and social justice. The program featured a presentation, moderated by Dan Rather, on the role of the media in its earliest days in advancing social justice.

The Third Annual America's Table Event
honoring NYC immigration Commissioner Guillermo Linares.

AJC, in collaboration with the City University of New York, celebrated Thanksgiving with a tribute to New York City's ethnic and religious communities, and the diverse roots and shared values that make our city great.  This year's event honored immigrants and the institutions and policies that help them to achieve their dreams
