The 17th Annual Diplomatic Tour of Jewish New York
1906-2006: Jewish Values and the American Struggle for Human Rights and Justice
In AJC's Centennial year, the tour highlighted the interplay between Jewish values and America's founding ideals, with a special emphasis on the efforts of AJC and other American Jewish Institutions to promote human rights and social justice. The program featured a presentation, moderated by Dan Rather, on the role of the media in its earliest days in advancing social justice.
